Overview: Quinnipiac University has an exciting opportunity available for an Associate Director, University Applications. University Applications is a group within the Technology Services sub-group of Information Technology. The team focuses on support of approximately 50 enterprises applications including administration, customization, integration, security, training and support. This position is hands-on and also managerial, leading a team of 3 analysts as well as serving as the primary backup for the Executive Director of Technology Services.

Responsibilities:
  • Support, maintain, and grow 50+ enterprise applications following best practices to benefit all end users (Faculty, Staff, and Students)
  • Major application focus on Colleague and related applications working closely with Associate Director of ERP, Kronos, Blackboard (LMS and Transact) and ImageNow
  • Works closely with Associate Director of Client Services to assist with critical tier 2/3 help desk issues.
  • Monitor the operational activity (Track-It requests) of the staff and ensure the appropriate workflow is taking place and timelines are met
  • Provide dialogue with the Executive Director of Technology Services in order to assist with aspects of unit level planning
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline required
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Experience may substitute for some of the above education requirements
Qualifications:
  • 5-7 years of experience in installing, administering, and securing enterprise applications
  • Excellent project management skills, especially pertaining to software application integration
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Superior understanding of University operations and specific department functions
  • Ability to understand and implement diverse application integration
  • Strong Microsoft, Blackboard, and Ellucian knowledge
  • Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations and a commitment to diversity and inclusion
