Quinnipiac University invites applicants for the Field and Program Operations Specialist for the MSW program, including the on-campus and the newly launched online deliveries, who will report to the MSW Program Director and MSW Department Chair, and work closely with the Director of Field Education and the Associate Director of the Online MSW Program, to ensure all program components operate accurately and effectively to comply with program accreditation requirements, program, school, and university policies and procedures. This role primarily services the technological and electronic systems-based operations of the MSW program, while supporting the coordination of the field education and other program related data management. This is an on- campus position, with the number of remote workdays per week dependent on programmatic needs of the online MSW program. |

The School of Health Sciences is home to approximately 100 full-time faculty and professional staff and enrolls over 2120 students across over 20 graduate and undergraduate academic offerings. The school is organized into 8 departments offering undergraduate majors in biomedical sciences, health sciences, radiologic sciences, medical microbiology & Immunology and diagnostic medical sonography and graduate majors in physician assistant studies, occupational therapy, physical therapy, social work, biomedical sciences, pathologists’ assistant and cardiovascular perfusion. Responsibilities: |
- Support Quinnipiac University (QU) and its School of Health Sciences missions, visions, core values and strategic plans priorities;
- Promote student academic success and commitment on contributing to diversity, equity and inclusive excellence in academic community;
- Ensure all students, upon admission, are properly identified, tracked, and connected to the program and field placement process and related databases, such as Colleague and EXXAT; Maintain accurate student internship site information and field education placement, seminar, and compliance records in appropriate databases;
- Manage database, including but not limited to updating records, adding users, building forms and reports, creating groups and assignment workflows, preparing reports and audits, and monitoring usage;
- Onboard and train MSW faculty and staff, including Field Education Liaison, community partners, and students, in the use of program and field education-related databases, including direct support and problem solving;
- Generate Field Education Coordinator and Field Education Liaison assignments in the program database (EXXAT), as assigned by the Director of Field based on program modalities, student and site arrangements, and in alignment with plan of study and projected placement terms;
- Communicate effectively and timely with staff, faculty, students, and community partners to ensure responsive engagement and accurate completion of database-related assignments/tasks;
- Support and coordinate the approval process for new and existing affiliation agreements, including monitoring the renewal process, terms and conditions of each affiliated partner/host site to ensure student and programs comply with field education sites and Council on Social Work Education [CSWE] accreditation requirements;
- Support the coordination of continuing education unit (CEU) based events, such as Lobby Day Training, Seminar in Field Instruction (SIFI) Training; oversee planning efforts and facilitation to ensure student, field instructor, and community partner engagement in professional development and continuing education;
- Work collaboratively with faculty and staff to support the MSW Program with data management, including student demographics and other information pertinent to program and field operations;
- Perform any other duties related to the MSW program and School of Health Sciences as assigned by the supervisor.

- A bachelor's degree required; master’s degree is preferred.
