The Department of Computer Information Systems at Quinnipiac University School of Business invites applications for a tenure-track faculty or teaching position starting in August 2020. The faculty are expected to excel at teaching, research, and service to both students and the university community.

The Quinnipiac University School of Business offers nine undergraduate majors, four graduate degree programs, a five-year BS/MBA program and an innovative 3+1 accelerated BS/MBA program. The School of Business is AACSB accredited with 1,750 undergraduate students in nine degree programs and 750 graduate students in MBA and MS degree programs.   • Developing and teaching both graduate online and on-ground business analytics courses and undergraduate information systems
  • Be willing to teach interdisciplinary and introduction to business courses
  •  Guide, advise, and mentor students
  • Maintain an active research agenda that will lead to publications in nationally or internationally recognized journals
  • Engage in service to the University community 

Education Requirements:

  • PhD/DBA in information systems, or business analytics
    • ABDs with teaching experience and a well-developed research agenda may be considered


  • Evidence of teaching effectiveness
  • Research and/or doctoral coursework related to the field of business analytics or information systems
  • Commitment to contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community
