Quinnipiac University is hiring a Senior Assistant Director of Admissions for the Mid-Atlantic Region. Reporting to the Director of Recruitment, the Senior Assistant Director of Admissions will focus on the recruitment and enrollment of first year and transfer students from the greater Mid-Atlantic region, inclusive of Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, and Washington D.C. This is a remote position with the ideal candidate located in the Mid-Atlantic region, preferably the greater Philadelphia area, and able to travel to the Quinnipiac campus in Connecticut for select events throughout the year.

Responsibilities: |
- Identify and foster relationships with high schools, counselors and other potential sources of prospective students in assigned recruitment territory.
- Utilize data both internal and external to develop a strategic plan for growing Quinnipiac enrollments from the Mid-Atlantic region.
- Participate in the development of inquiry, application, admit, and deposit goals for the region.
- Plan recruitment travel and represent the university at in-territory recruitment events.
- Review undergraduate applications and conduct presentations, interviews, and information sessions as appropriate and necessary.
- Coordinate and manage communications with prospective students and their families from assigned territory through email, phone calls, in-person meetings, etc.
- Building relationships through extensive interaction with prospective students and their parents, high school and independent counselors, and community-based organizations.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements: |
- Bachelor's degree required
- Master's degree preferred
|
Qualifications: |
- 3-5 years of experience in college admissions
- Ability to work remotely to manage a regional recruitment territory, which includes substantial travel, including evening and weekends.
- Valid Driver's License required
- Ability to work independently, efficiently, and strategically to build a new recruitment territory.
- Ability to think creatively, strategically, and collaboratively.
- Experience with Admissions information systems (i.e. Technolutions Slate, and preferred experience or like data system with Ellucian Colleague)
- Understanding of, sensitivity to, and respect for the diverse academic, socio-economic, ethnic, religious, and cultural backgrounds of prospective students.
- Ability to communicate clearly with prospective students, their parents, high school and independent counselors.
- Ability to understand and present essential information about Quinnipiac and its programs.
