Overview: Quinnipiac University's Department of Athletics invites applications for a Director of Player Development, Men's Basketball to assist with the overall development of the men's basketball student-athletes on and off the court. To assist with the overall development of the men’s basketball student-athletes on and off the court in player workouts and student-athlete mentoring.

Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to the highest standards of academic integrity and work in compliance with all University, NCAA and Metro Conference rules and regulations.
  • Work in conjunction with the men's basketball staff and athletic administration to mentor student-athletes on and off the court
  • Attend all men’s basketball practices and games. On-court instruction as needed
  • Assist with special projects and other tasks/duties as requested by coaching staff.
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required
Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of experience  preferably at a NCAA Division I institution or professional sports organization
  • An understanding of NCAA rules and regulations
  • Effective communication and organizational skills, including experience working in the sport of basketball
  • Communication effectively across various stakeholders
  • Valid Driver's License
