The Director of Finance is a key member of the School of Medicine’s administrative leadership team and is responsible for the day-to-day financial management of the School of Medicine. This role oversees budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting to ensure effective stewardship of resources, inform decision-making, and ensure compliance. The Director of Finance reports to the Assistant Dean for Administration and Strategic Planning and works closely with the Dean, the University’s Executive Director of Academic Budgets and Resource Planning, and the central Academic Finance Group. The ideal candidate is a highly detail-oriented and collaborative finance professional with strong budgeting and financial management skills. This individual will play a central role in developing and managing the School of Medicine’s budget, monitoring financial activity, and supporting unit leaders in their budgeting processes.
