Maintenance Supervisor - Evenings Mount Carmel - Hamden, CT
Assist the overall management of evening services related to all University properties (est. 3.25 million square feet and est. 800 acres) which includes the management of multiple trades during the evening hours, including a variety of functions/events, cleaning services, grounds, general maintenance, mechanical issues, and other tasks as assigned by the Senior Superintendent of Evening Services. Perform administrative, staff and student assistance functions required for the effective operation of the Office of International Students and Scholars and Division of Student Affairs. Serve as a Designated School Official (DSO) and Alternate Responsible Officer (ARO) in the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) to provide the reporting support for the University to maintain compliance for its international student population. Employment with QU Outdoors offers the opportunity to work as a Climbing Wall Attendant, a Trip Leader, or both. Climbing Wall Attendants ensure the safety of all participants at the RecWell climbing wall by overseeing the facility, enforcing climbing rules, and promoting adherence to safety protocols. Trip Leaders coordinate and lead QU Outdoors wilderness-based adventure trips such as backpacking, rock climbing, and paddling.
