Responsibilities: |
- Assist with cataloguing and documentation of Historical Society’s archives and collection.
- The digitizing of historical documents through the use of a scanner.
- Various administrative tasks such as filing, labeling, etc.
- Conducting research about Bethany, its residents, businesses, and town development.
- Maintenance and construction of displays in the Historical Society’s Museum and at their historical properties.
- Assistance with special events including planning of events and staffing if avialable.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: |
- Good interpersonal skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office including, Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to work independently, detail-oriented, interest in history a plus.

Hours of Position: |
6-10 hours per week Monday - Friday between hours of 10:00am-4:00pm |
