Responsibilities: |
- Develop and maintain project status for online stories created for the website and social media channels, gathering marketing content and liaising with students, staff and faculty.
- Oversee event marketing communications projects with university staff and channel owners.
- In collaboration with other departments, assist in the development and distribution of university newsletters
- Coordinate photo shoots with the M&C photographer and university staff
- Conduct competitive analyses and online marketing research
- Complete special projects with minimal supervision

Qualifications: |
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with individuals across the department, and University, including students, staff and faculty
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- 3+ years of direct social media experience with the major platforms
- Working knowledge of content management systems
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Advertising or Marketing fields.
- Provide sample of social media portfolio
- Ability to work nights and weekends
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Highly organized, detail-oriented and reliable
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Federal Work Study is preferred, not required

Hours of Position: |
- Up to 15 hrs per week
- Standard work hours with some nights and weekends
