Responsibilities:
  • Promote and publicize Career Development & Experiential Learning by developing and implementing social media marketing strategies across platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. Create engaging content, including informational posts, event promotions, success stories, and industry news updates. Monitor and analyze social media metrics to assess and improve the effectiveness of these strategies.
  • Promote and publicize Career Development & Experiential Learning across various social media platforms; develop and implement programming initiatives; collaborate with campus partners to execute career-focused events; and assess and improve programming effectiveness through data analysis.
  • Support advising and coaching as it pertains to Career Development & Experiential Learning
  • Maintain organization within workspaces
  • Greet and assist walk-in visitors
  • Provide quality customer service and respond to office inquiries via email and telephone
  • Assist in providing professional development services to students and alumni such as resume review, job search, interview prep, mock interviews, networking and professional workplace behaviors skills
  • Maintain current knowledge of guidelines and competencies provided by governing organizations such as NACE, NCDA, and NSEE.
  • Support career workshops, career fairs, on-site employer visits, and university events as appropriate.
  • Utilize data analytics tools to assess the effectiveness of career development programs and initiatives, providing insights for continuous improvement
  • Serve as the lead student contact during identified experiential programs.
  • All other duties as assigned to support the mission of the Office of Career Dev & Experiential Learning, the Office of Student Personal and Professional Development, and Quinnipiac University

Hours of Position:
  • Up to 15hrs per week - Hours will typically fall between 9am to 5pm, Monday through Friday
  • Availability to work one evening per week required
