Responsibilities: |
- Assist with continued development of QU’s compliance rules education program by helping to produce educational materials for athletics department staff, student-athletes, and outside groups as well as contribute to the monthly compliance newsletter;
- Maintain student-athlete files (electronically in compliance software) and ensure that MAAC and NCAA documentation is up to date;
- Review and approve official and unofficial recruiting visits;
- Assist with Name, Image, and Likeness monitoring;
- Review, monitor, and approve playing and practice season submissions;
- Research waiver and interpretations of NCAA rules;
- Assist with the athletic scholarship process;
- Assist with the eligibility process
- Assist with tracking student development participation

Qualifications: |
- Strong interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to take initiative, complete time-sensitive matters, maintain confidential information and multitask under supervision.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office including, Word, Excel and Outlook, Acrobat Adobe and Power Point
- Experience working in an intercollegiate athletics department or as a student-athlete is preferred
- Demonstrate a commitment to high ethical standards

Hours of Position: |
- Flexible based on class schedule
- Up to 20 hours per week
