Responsibilities: |
• Answer phone calls for Carl Hansen Student Center main line transferring calls to appropriate departments and professional staff • Greet, direct and answer questions for all visitors, students, faculty and staff entering the Student Center • Perform opening and closing rounds, which includes, opening/locking office & meeting space, aligning furniture, picking up garbage, turning lights on/off, and communicating to Public Safety. • Manage the lost and found • Cover all schedules shifts and come to work on time • Complete daily logs and hourly rounds while on shift • Attend all mandatory meetings and training's • Substitute for shifts at the Campus Life Desk and Rocky Top Desk as deemed necessary and if your schedule permits • Organize and maintain the information booth area • Perform other duties assigned |
Qualifications: |
• Demonstrate good verbal communication and organizational skills • Excellent customer service skills • Strong telephone skills • Strong knowledge of departments located in the Carl Hansen Student Center and University • Dependability and punctuality • Ability to use Web browsers on Microsoft Windows computers to find campus information and telephone numbers

Hours of Position: |
5-7 hours/week, shifts can range from morning to evening times on weekdays & weekends. |
