Quinnipiac University's School of Nursing invites applicants who are dynamic researchers/scholars and educators for a full-time 9.5-month tenure/tenure track faculty position. The successful candidate will be a doctorally-prepared nurse educator who will teach across the curricula within the school’s undergraduate and graduate nursing programs. The candidate will have experience teaching in classroom, online, laboratory, and simulation environments, expertise in research and scholarship, and curriculum development and support.

This is a full-time, 9.5-month tenure track faculty position within the School of Nursing.
About the School:
The School of Nursing serves a total of 1100 graduate and undergraduate students. Faculty and staff work with colleagues in our Center for Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences and all schools across campus to create innovative interprofessional educational experiences that prepare students for today's health care challenges. The Center is located at our North Haven, CT campus and encompasses 325,000 square feet designed for collaborative learning including 48 pro-section stations, 16 standardized patient rooms, an exceptional health sciences library, 7 high-fidelity simulation rooms including 2 ORs and a PACU, health assessment and skills labs, advanced diagnostic imaging equipment and classrooms outfitted with the latest technology. As one of 15 schools in the nation with holistically endorsed programs, we emphasize the social, emotional, spiritual, and psychological aspects of care, as well as the physical, throughout our nursing curriculum.
We offer traditional and accelerated second degree programs at the baccalaureate level. At the graduate level, our Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) prepares baccalaureate graduates to become nurse practitioners specializing in adult-gerontology or families; an online MSN prepares RNs for careers in mid-level management and includes quality improvement, fiscal management, human resources, and informatics. Our post-master’s Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) online programs are designed for nurses seeking advanced leadership skills or specialized population-based care.
