Overview:

Quinnipiac University's Office of Enrollment Management & Financial Aid invites applications for an exciting role as Director of Enrollment Technology & Data Analytics. Reporting to the Assistant Vice President of Enrollment Technology, the Director of Enrollment Technology & Data Analytics is responsible for building, optimizing, and enhancing data-driven admissions CRM, processes, resources, and recruitment tools. The Director will provide training to use these tools, document these processes, and create materials and records.

The Director will also provide technical guidance, support, expertise and advanced reporting, database management, and extraction/analysis for the systems used in the Enrollment Management and Financial Aid Department. In addition, this position will assist other departments with data processing requests that pertain to Enrollment Management and Financial Aid.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversees coordination of enrollment technology systems related to admissions and financial aid.
  • Manage and/or track all technologies and platforms utilized by Enrollment (some centralized), including Slate, Colleague ERP, Informer, SAS, others
  • Provide project management of new implementations and upgrades and assessments of technology or data gaps within Enrollment systems
  • Manage all features, processes, and functions associated with CRM recruitment system (Slate by Technolutions). Builds, updates, and executes new processes and enhancements
  • Manage Financial Aid budgeting and packaging programs
  • Maintains the integrity of admissions and financial aid databases, ensuring accuracy of the data, developing error reports, and fixing data errors and inconsistencies
  • Collaboratively executes raw data transfer to and from internal and external constituents file uploads or API integration
  • Provide technical support to admissions and financial aid
  • Responsible for developing and creating admissions tracking reports along with ongoing maintenance and distribution of these reports to all interested parties
  • Responsible for all phases of Admissions BI/MIS projects and reports including design, development, testing and implementation
  • Responsible for working closely with various University academic and business units to design and trouble-shoot existing reports and queries
  • Responsible for identifying data requirements to improve reports
  • Works in conjunction with key academic and business units to improve existing reports/systems and provide recommendations for new solutions
  • Prepare procedural documentation and provide end user training
  • Other duties as assigned
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Master's degree in Information Systems or a related discipline preferred
Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience in developing and maintaining complex data reporting
  • 4+ years of experience in developing and maintaining enrollment systems
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects
  • Experience in a data warehouse environment
  • Experience with BI data mining tools a plus
  • Experience with BI data transformation tools helpful
  • Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools (Business Objects, SQL Reporting Services, OLAP, MS Excel, MS Access)
  • High level of proficiency with BI programming languages (Transact SQL, MDX)
  • Knowledge of relational and multi-dimensional database concepts and query development
  • Strong BI/MIS requirements gathering skills (interviewing business users and functional leaders)
  • Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations and/or a commitment to diversity and inclusion.

  • Experience in writing reports using advanced reporting tools
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills
