The Physician Assistant Program at Quinnipiac University's School of Health Sciences invites applications for a Clinical Coordinator/Full-Time Clinical Faculty.  This is a full-time, 12-month faculty position. Reporting to the Director of Clinical Education, the successful candidate will be responsible for both curricular and administrative aspects of the PA program. In this role, you will have the opportunity to maintain clinical practice hours.

  • Monitor student performance in the clinical year
  • Advise students
  • Conduct clinical site visits
  • Develop and maintain clinical sites
  • Evaluate and develop PA clinical curriculum
  • Coordinate the pre-clinical and long-term care experiences
  • Teach at the graduate level
  • Participate and coordinate PA program committees
  • Engage in program administrative work
  • Participate in university service

Education Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited physician assistant program
  • Minimum of an earned Master’s Degree


  • Proven clinical precepting and/or teaching experience

  • Current NCCPA certification and eligibility for licensure in the State of Connecticut

  • Minimum of three years of clinical experience as a PA and experience in PA education is preferred

  • Commitment to contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community
