Responsibilities: |
- Create and distribute promotional emails through Delivra email system
- Create and share event promotions using creative tools such as Canva
- Assisting in overall promotion of event and event marketing plan
- Event registration setup and maintenance
- Creation of event surveys and analysis of results
- Invitation mailings
- Maintaining event supply inventory
- Guest services either in person, by phone or email
- Recruiting peers to staff events as applicable
- Attending university events in person; occasional nights and weekends required
- Light lifting for occasional in-person events
- Assisting with various event coordination aspects for university events including Commencement, Boomer’s Boo Bash, Quad Lighting and Bobcat Weekend
- Working across departments to plan event logistics
- Other projects as assigned

Qualifications: |
- Solid written communication and interpersonal skills necessary
- Creative design skills using software such as Canva
- Interest in and ability to learn new programs and event software
- Office experience and exceptional organizational skills needed, with attention to detail
- Ambitious and positive attitude; works well as a member of a team
- Knowledge of event registration and survey applications a plus
- Must be comfortable completing tasks independently, asking questions and working towards defined goals for the position
