Job Title: Campus Life Operations Manager
Department: Office of Student Engagement
Student Employment Type: Federal Work-Study and Non-Federal Work-Study
Responsibilities:
    • Enforce policies and procedures of the student centers and University.
    • Maintain working knowledge of all technical and AV equipment in both buildings.
    • Support Professional Staff housed in Rocky Top and Carl Hansen Student Centers.
    • Maintain organization within workspaces.
    • Manage student organization rental equipment and ensure returned equipment is in good condition.
    • Create and distribute newsletters and quizzes; collect quiz data.
    • Cover vacant hours in emergencies.
    • Conduct hourly rounds of the student center.
    • Monitor and report disciplinary points of employees.
    • Create weekly reports for the Graduate Assistant and Associate Director.
    • Hold office hours at Carl Hansen 202 Welcome Desk.
    • Design professional development opportunities for employees.

Programming Responsibilities Include:

  • Work with Campus Life team to develop, schedule, and execute programming in the organization suite, including club leadership workshops, conflict resolution sessions, etc.
  • Collaborate with the GA for Organizations.
  • Support Office of Student Engagement sponsored events.

Hours of Position:
  • 10 hours/week.  Must be available to work during daytime hours from Carl Hansen Student Centers, with possible weekend shifts during the academic year.
