Overview:

The Department of Finance in the School of Business at Quinnipiac University invites applications for two (2) full-time, visiting faculty positions in the area of investment management and/or corporate finance at the rank of instructor, assistant, or associate.

The Quinnipiac University School of Business offers nine undergraduate majors, four graduate degree programs, a five-year BS/MBA program and an innovative 3+1 accelerated BS/MBA program. The School of Business is AACSB accredited with 1,750 undergraduate students in nine degree programs and 750 graduate students in MBA and MS degree programs. Our 65 full-time business faculty pride themselves on their practice-oriented innovative teaching styles to keep their classrooms interesting, grounded and engaging. Responsibilities:

  • Teach effectively in a high-quality, AACSB-Accredited business program
  • Contribute to course development and be comfortable teaching undergraduate and MBA courses in both traditional and online environments
  • Support students through the mentoring and advising process
  • Participate in departmental and university-wide committees
  • Serve the Quinnipiac community

Education Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in Finance preferred
  • Candidates who have successfully defended proposals, or candidates holding a Master's degree with a strong teaching record and an interest in scholarship, will also be considered

  • Demonstrated commitment and ability to produce scholarship
  • Strong desire to work in a collaborative environment
  • Strong desire to support students through the mentoring process
  • Strong desire to participate in departmental and university-wide committees
  • Commitment to contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community
